CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!

TYLER MADE TECH SGT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so beyond proud of him!!!!!! It has taken much longer for him to make Tech than it did to make Staff, and he studied SOOOOOO long and hard for this test! He tested way back on February 29, and he just called and told me about 5 minutes ago that he made it!!!! He won't actually "sew on" his rank until sometime in Spring 2009, but at least we know!!!!
Just a note to let you know how difficult it is to pass these tests.... only 18% of all people who tested for Tech this year were selected!!! All of his studying finally paid off!!!

If you give a kid a camera....

Sad day....

So today was the BIG day for Madi and Caiden. I took both of them, along with my Dad who flew into town a week ago, to the airport this morning. My "babies" are going on their first trip by themselves today! But luckily, they are in my Dad's good hands. As I type this they are flying out west to California to spend a few weeks with Grandma and Grandpa. Tyler, Kami and I will join them in a couple weeks... just in time for Madi's 9th birthday!

Things went off without a hitch this morning, although there were a few tears shed by all. I'm sure they've both forgotten about me already! No really, I know they are going to have a fabulous time, and I am so excited for them!

In the meantime, I hope to get some organizing and major straightening up done here (fun, huh!), and have lots of fun Kami-time! She gets to have Mommy & Daddy all to herself for a few weeks.

Hi!!! Welcome to my NEW blog! Well, it's not really that new. I've only been trying to get this thing up and running since, oh, February! My perfectionism tendencies kind of got in the way, so I finally decided to push those tendencies to the wayside and at least start somewhere!



So.... here we go! I figured with so many family and friends spread all over the US and the world, that this might be a fun way to keep everyone updated on what's going on with The Eddy's! And we all know how very good I am at emailing pictures.... NOT! So hopefully this will help!
